Montessori Academy of Chambersburg offers extended care programs designed to support families while providing children with a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment beyond the school day.
ExCEL Before & After School Program
The ExCEL Program is available during the academic school year and offers flexible extended care options for families on either a contracted or drop-in basis. Children enjoy a balance of creative activities, social interaction, outdoor play, and opportunities to unwind before and after the school day. An afternoon snack is provided.
Hours of Operation:
- Morning Care: 7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
- Afternoon Care: 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Please note that ExCEL is not available during weather-related delays, early dismissals, school closures, or scheduled school breaks unless otherwise communicated.
Summer Program
Montessori Academy's Summer Program provides a fun, enriching experience that allows children to stay connected with friends and school routines while enjoying the relaxed pace of summer. Weekly themes may include arts and crafts, science explorations, outdoor activities, water play, games, stories, and special events.
The program operates from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with families able to register for the weeks that best fit their summer schedules.
Summer Program Eligibility
The Summer Program is exclusively available to currently enrolled Montessori Academy students who have successfully completed the academic school year and are returning for the upcoming school year. The program is not open to the general public.
